Will the last summer day be the last sunny day for real? Defiantly not if you ask me! Lets wait to find out…
I took my drone with me and went from home. By judging of the whole days sunny whether it was very easy to predict the end of the day. My friend from Germany was still here in Stockholm and he was coming as well. The meeting place was the island of Skeppsholmen. I found little jetty behind the Af Chapman boat at marked as our base.
I arrived little bit earlier and prepared my drone for a first flight. During the time my friend arrived. The little jetty was located around 30 meters behind the boat. Beside a good strategic place this jetty provided good isolation of people and tourist asking a questions. I don’t mind talking with people when I am not flying. Sometimes people wants to talk and ask questions even when I am flying which I like less.
Fortunately some clouds arrived. It wasn’t so much but enough to create some extra dimension and colours. The horizon on the west side was almost clean and I hoped that clouds move in that direction.
Will tinny clouds show more colours at the last summer day?
During the end of my second battery the sky started to be pink-orange-reddish and I was pleased. The third day in raw with beautiful sunset was really good statistics even for Stockholm. I made a few panoramas with boat i the foreground and even the small seam boat passed by and contributed for better composition. As a bonus the beautiful rays raised from horizon in all directions and I was really happy.
During my last battery flight my second friend arrived with his kids. I was more flying around showing the kids a beautiful view from above. Stockholm is defiantly one of the most beautiful cities in the world and during the colourful sunset and even from above… well it’s totally another dimension.
Coffee and ice cream was the just continuation of this adventure…
