Did you know that Södermalm is an island surrounded both by the Baltic Sea and a lake Mälaren? I will show you a part of the Baltic sea from above.
Today I was little bit busy working from my home office. The sky was clear i it was little bit windy. Without previously plan where to go to fly I decided to stay at Södermalm. I live at this island and is my favourite.
I went to the the North-East part of the Södermalm from where you can see the whole Stockholm and Baltic Sea. It’s beautiful view point and sometimes crowded with locals and tourists during the sunset. Today I wanted to wider my view and experience it from above.
Fjällgatan is the place to visit at Södermalm.
Fjällgatan View Point was the winning place. I can recommend you to visit it if you ever decide to spend a few days in Stockholm. For me it was just a 15 minutes walk. Only few tourist was there busy taking their selfies. I was glad for that and marked my home point. I prepared my little friend for take off and was in the air at the no time.
As you can see from photos below it’s nice point of view and its little bit elevated providing you a wider view of Stockholm and Baltic Sea. Down belov me I had a crowded street with plenty of cars. I photographed a few different panoramas in all directions. Even wider panorama of Stockholm islands with Gamla Stan, Skeppsholmen, Gröna Lund and Baltic Sea (last photo). I have lovely photos from Skeppsholmen and Gamla Stan which you can see here and Kastelhollmen here.
