I always wondered how Maria Magdalena Church looked from above? And now with all those gold and brown trees tops… just imagine at sunset?
Its alway nice when you have your friend with you. Rostam arrived to Medborgarplatsen at Södermalm and we continued our walk in church’s direction. Our place was located less then 10 minutes by walk.
Maria Magdalena Church went on my list of church’s to be photographed. Beside this church I have Sofia, Katarina and Högalid church all of them located at Södermalm.
Heavy clouds above Maria Magdalena Church
Today the whole sky was covered by heavy clouds but I wasn’t unhappy. I liked the light which doesn’t created huge shadows. It was much easier to photograph without to compromise with exposure. When I found right exposure I locked it and put all my attention to composing and shooting.
It was a nice view from this part of Södermalm. As you can se down below Slussen, Riddarholmen and Gamla Stan are visible. Even you can see Hörnsgatan on the left side.
On the right side from a church as you can see from photo above was Medborgarplatsen. Far away you can see a part of Baltic Sea which I visited and photographed, klick here.
